Craft the lantern + 3 embers to make Balacks lantern
Head over to JoD and bait your shadow trap with Gouda or SB+ to catch a Pigmy swarm which sometimes drops the vanilla bean.
Collect some beans and use one of the two formulas to craft 15 pieces of Vanilla Stilton
Recipe one: 15 Vanilla Beans + 15 Curds & Whey + 15 Salt + 15 Coconut Milk
Recipe two: 1 Vanilla Bean + 15 Curds & Why + 15 Salt + 15 Coconut Milk + 15 Magic Essence
Take your new items to the cove and set up an arcane trap for the forgotten mice that lurk within
To progess towards Balack himself, you will need special ingredients dropped by the trapped tribe members in the cove, the mice and its loot are as follows;
Derr Lich Mouse, 1 Bottled-Up Rage
Nerg Lich Mouse, 1 Raisins Of Wrath
Elub Lich Mouse, 1 Pinch Of Annoyance
The recipe's for Crafting Vengeful Vanilla Stilton are as follows;
1 Piece: 1 Bottled-Up Rage + 1 Raisins Of Wrath + 1 Pinch Of Annoyance + 1 Vanilla Bean + 1 Curds & Whey + 1 Ionized Salt + 1 Coconut Milk
3 Pieces: 1 Bottled-Up Rage + 1 Raisins Of Wrath + 1 Pinch Of Annoyance + 1 Vanilla Bean + 1 Curds & Whey + 1 Ionized Salt + 1 Coconut Milk + 3 Magic Essence
You will be washed out of the cave periodically and be sent to the JoD so watch out for those pigmy's
When you are washed out of the cave you will not need 3 more embers for the lantern like you are told, the fire will never extinguish
VS is excellent it seems for attracting the pigmy mice, one hunter getting over 70 consecutive catches of the little mice. So if you can afford to craft the Vanilla Stilton with Magic Essence, this may be a good way to stock up on cheese before taking on the cove

5. When was the last time you caught a mouse in real life?Sorry never come across one in real life. My house is clean and rodent free.
6. What is your favorite trap in the game and why?The Christmas cracker and Candy Cane base goes together ya know but who can argue about that, it just does.
7. Do you think you could beat an Aged Mouse at chess?No. But if I did, while he is pondering on how I beat him, I would be priming my cracker for use.
8. What was the last occasion where you caught a rare or difficult mouse with a ridiculously low amount of cheese?I got my first magma carrier with only 2 pieces of Spicy Harvatti.
9. What has been the worst decision of your MouseHunt career, in hindsight?Uum… that would be getting the ship before the ACRONYM.after I got my ship I found it ridiculously hard to get scrap metal for the ACRONYM.

If the Ornament Mouse, Bottled Mouse, and Lambent Crystal Mouse were having a fight, who would win and why?None of them, because I would see them fighting and put my trap out for them and get them all.Heres how the hunt looked like:6:21 pmI sounded the hunters horn. I was successful in my hunt. I found that I had caught an Bottled mouse, Ornament mouse and a Lamberant crystal mouse. I did not use my cheese for that hunt and will be used for the next hunt.
